I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C. I received my undergraduate degree and played baseball at West Virginia University. After graduation, I was a teacher, assistant football coach, and head baseball coach at J.W. Robinson Secondary in Fairfax Virginia. I moved to Charlotte in 2009 and was a teacher and assistant baseball coach at Providence High School. I have been an Assistant Principal at Weddington High School, and Crestdale Middle School. I am married with two children. Hailey is in 4th grade and Cole is in 1st grade. We have two dogs, Heinz, a German Shepherd and Ace, a White Lab.
